Our February 2015 newsletter.

February 2015

OCIABC members are business communications professionals in Oregon and Southwest Washington. We count among our members executives, specialists and staff members, freelancers, consultants and students. Our areas of responsibility encompass media relations, employee relations and communication, development, graphic design, media production, advertising, marketing, public affairs and program management and many others.
Cultivate Critical ConnectionsJoin us at the Melody Ballroom on February 25, 2015 from 5:30-7:30pm and get a head start on cultivating your own personalized network of critical connections within the professional communicators’ community.

Share ideas, knowledge, best practices, challenges and successes. What is a guided networking opportunity? It’s our invention really. It’s an opportunity to move from one area of interest to another to chat with others with similar professional interests. At each networking tabletop, you’ll see a list of questions to get you chatting with others.

Who will be in attendance? At the event you’ll have the opportunity to meet and chat with communications and marketing communications professionals working in businesses, corporations and non-profit organizations throughout Portland: eastside, westside, downtown, and even from our neighbor city, Vancouver.

What would you like to discuss? We have some hot topics selected, but we want this to be a memorable event for you. Have a hot topic in mind that you’d like to discuss with others? Provide your vote for topic ideas here before February 20th and we’ll include the most popular topics from this one question input form!

Please pre-register. Help us plan for you by pre-registering. Light appetizers are included in the price of the event; a cash bar is available too with wine, beer and cocktails. Register Here
